ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a mobile app can help speed up the time it takes for doctors and nurses in a children's emergency department to access lab results. The study will compare the time taken to get these results before and after using the app called "Patients In My Pocket in my Hospital" (PIMPmyHospital). By using this app, caregivers can check lab results directly on their devices, which may help reduce delays in treatment for young patients.
To participate in this study, individuals must be either pediatric residents, pediatric emergency medicine fellows, or registered nurses working in the pediatric emergency department. There are no specific exclusion criteria, meaning almost anyone in these roles can join if they agree to participate. Participants can expect to contribute to improving the care of children in emergency situations by helping researchers understand if this app can make a difference in how quickly care is provided.
