ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how eating oranges might help improve metabolism in people with Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD). Researchers want to see if the nutrients found in oranges, especially a substance called polyphenols, can positively affect how the body processes fats and sugars. This is important because many people are struggling with weight and related health issues, and finding effective dietary solutions could reduce risks for serious diseases.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 30 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with MAFLD. Unfortunately, if you have certain medical conditions, like inflammatory bowel diseases or cancer, or if you’re on a special diet, you won’t be eligible. If you join, you can expect to follow a specific diet that includes oranges and possibly learn more about how your health can improve through dietary changes. This trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to gather valuable information that could help many people manage their metabolic health better.
