ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help people who are waiting for specialized therapy for psychiatric disorders. The goal is to see if a short training program available on smartphones can boost patients' confidence in managing their mental health while they wait. Participants will also use a tool that collects daily information about their mood and social interactions. Researchers want to find out if this training can reduce stress and help people stay on the waitlist without dropping out, while also improving their motivation and future therapy experiences.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between 18 and 65 years old, have a psychiatric disorder, and be waiting for therapy. They should also be comfortable using smartphones and have internet access at home. After joining, participants will be randomly assigned to either receive the training and daily assessments or just the daily assessments. They will complete some questionnaires at different times to help researchers understand the impact of the program. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance to actively engage in your mental health journey even while waiting for treatment.
