ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help doctors in Nigeria diagnose breast cancer more effectively. The main goal is to train radiologists—doctors who specialize in looking at images of the body—to perform a procedure called ultrasound-guided breast biopsies. This involves using a special device to look at the breast and safely take a small sample of tissue that can be tested for cancer. By using mobile health technology, the researchers aim to create a practical and sustainable training method for these doctors.
If you are a woman aged 18 or older and have had a breast ultrasound that shows a solid mass suspicious for cancer, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Participants will receive training and support throughout the process. It’s important to note that you would need to agree to take part in the trial by signing a consent form. This study is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help improve breast cancer diagnosis in Nigeria.
