ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether taking a supplement called creatine monohydrate can help people who are experiencing ongoing symptoms after a concussion. Many individuals suffer from what is known as persistent post-concussive symptoms (PPCS), which can continue for months after the initial injury. The study will gather information from participants through questionnaires where they will share how they feel and any symptoms they are experiencing.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 20 and 45 years old and have been dealing with PPCS for at least six months but no longer than 18 months. However, if you are an elite athlete or someone who exercises intensely for more than ten hours a week, you won't be eligible for this study. Participants will receive the creatine supplement and will be asked to report their symptoms over time. This research could provide valuable insights into helping people recover from concussion-related issues.
