ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into the relationship between mitral valve prolapse (MVP), a condition where the heart's mitral valve doesn't close properly, and heart rhythm problems known as arrhythmias. Researchers want to understand how these heart rhythm issues affect patients with MVP and whether surgery to repair the mitral valve can help improve these problems. The goal is to better identify patients at risk of serious heart issues and to see if surgery makes a difference in their heart rhythms.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of mitral valve prolapse. You should also have undergone tests to evaluate your heart's electrical activity or have had surgery for mitral valve disease. If you join the study, you'll undergo assessments to monitor your heart rhythm and how it changes after any treatment. This research is currently recruiting participants and is open to individuals of all genders. Your involvement could help improve understanding and treatment options for others with similar heart conditions.
