ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a mobile health app can help people with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who are also receiving treatment for alcohol problems. The app is designed to provide support and resources to improve their treatment outcomes. Researchers want to see if using this app makes a difference in recovery for individuals dealing with both conditions.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, currently receiving treatment for alcohol use, and meet certain criteria for PTSD. This means you should have a specific level of symptoms as indicated by a questionnaire. You'll also need a smartphone or another device that can connect to the internet and run the app. If you have used injectable drugs in the past year, or if you're already receiving certain types of therapy for PTSD, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to use the app and receive some brief support while you continue your treatment for alcohol use.
