ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how eating probiotic yogurt can help people who have gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms, especially constipation. Probiotics are good bacteria that can benefit our gut health. The main goal of this study is to see if consuming yogurt that contains these probiotics can improve symptoms for those experiencing GI issues.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must live in Izmir, have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 24.9 (which means they are in a healthy weight range), and show signs of gastrointestinal problems based on specific scales for constipation. However, individuals with diagnosed GI diseases, those who regularly consume probiotics, or those taking medications that affect the gastrointestinal system will not be able to participate. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who are eligible can look forward to contributing to important research that may help others with similar GI challenges.
