ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new way to improve the efficiency of clear aligners, which are used to straighten misaligned teeth. The researchers are exploring how a technology called Dental Monitoring™ can help track the movement of teeth using 3D imaging and artificial intelligence. This system aims to personalize how often aligners are changed based on each patient's individual progress, rather than relying on a standard timeline. This could mean fewer trips to the orthodontist and shorter treatment times, while still keeping a close eye on how well the treatment is working.

To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 12 years old and seeking treatment specifically to correct your dental alignment with clear aligners. You should have all your permanent teeth, and the treatment should not involve removing any teeth. However, if you have certain health conditions, are taking specific medications, or have gum disease, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to use the Dental Monitoring™ app to help track your treatment progress from home, making it easier and more convenient for you. This trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to find out if this remote monitoring approach can enhance orthodontic care, especially during times when in-person visits might be challenging.
