ClinConnect Summary
The TriBEL Registry is a study that will follow patients who have had or will have a procedure called transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) to treat a heart condition known as tricuspid valve regurgitation (TR). This condition occurs when the tricuspid valve doesn't close properly, causing blood to flow backward in the heart. The main goal of this study is to see if TEER is a safe and effective treatment option for TR over a period of five years. Researchers will look at how many patients experience a significant improvement in their condition and monitor any serious health issues that may arise after the procedure.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and eligible for the TEER procedure. They will have to sign a form to show they understand the study and agree to take part. The study is currently not recruiting participants, but it will include people of all genders within a wide age range. Those who join will be closely monitored to see how well the treatment works and to ensure their safety throughout the study.
