ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a patient's personality might affect the difficulty of a colonoscopy, which is a procedure doctors use to examine the inside of the colon for any issues. Researchers at Peking Union Medical College Hospital want to find out if certain personality traits can make the procedure easier or harder for patients. Participants will be asked to complete a routine colonoscopy and fill out some questionnaires that assess their mental health and personality traits.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between 18 and 75 years old, able to understand the study details, and willing to give their consent. However, people who have had a colonoscopy before, have severe mental disorders, or certain medical conditions may not be able to participate. Those who join can expect to receive standard care during their colonoscopy while contributing to important research that could help improve patient experiences in the future.
