ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a condition called diabetic gastroparesis, which is a problem that affects how the stomach empties food. It can happen in people with poorly controlled diabetes, where the nerves and muscles in the stomach don’t work properly. This can lead to symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and feeling full quickly after eating. The goal of this study is to better understand this condition in patients with type 2 diabetes.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be under 40 years old, have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for more than five years, and not have type 1 diabetes or any history of stomach surgery. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it will include anyone regardless of gender. If you or someone you know meets these criteria, this study may provide valuable insights into managing diabetic gastroparesis.
