ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how mobile health applications can help improve health outcomes for people with type 2 diabetes and obesity. The goal is to see if using these apps can make it easier for participants to manage their diabetes and overall health. If you decide to join this study, you will need to commit to a 6-month period where you'll weigh yourself every morning and check your blood sugar levels daily before and after meals.
To be eligible for this trial, you should be between 18 and 64 years old, have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least three months, and have a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher. You also need to regularly check your blood sugar at least once a day and have access to a smartphone to download the health app. Participants will be guided on how to use the app to track their progress, and you’ll be part of a supportive community focused on better health. If you’re interested, this could be a great opportunity to take charge of your health with the help of technology!
