ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how levels of tiny particles in the blood, called microparticles, change in people who have been poisoned by carbon monoxide (CO). The researchers want to find out if these microparticles increase in people with acute CO poisoning compared to healthy individuals. To do this, they will take blood samples from patients before and after they receive a special treatment called hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which helps to remove CO from the body. They will also compare these patients to a group of healthy volunteers.

To participate in this study, individuals need to be over 18 years old, have been diagnosed with acute carbon monoxide poisoning, and require hyperbaric oxygen treatment. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it’s open to everyone regardless of gender. If someone decides to join, they will have their blood tested to help researchers understand the effects of carbon monoxide on the body better. It's important to note that anyone who does not want to participate can choose not to, and their decision will be respected.
