ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the effects of vitamin D therapy on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The researchers want to see if adding vitamin D can help improve certain immune system markers and overall development in children with ASD. The study is currently looking for participants who are between 2 and 6 years old, have delayed language skills due to ASD, and are in good health with normal weight and height.
To be eligible, children should not have taken vitamin D supplements or any drugs that affect the immune system before, and they should not have any chronic illnesses or neurological disorders. If a child joins the trial, they will be monitored to see how well vitamin D supplementation works in helping them develop better language skills and overall functioning. This study could provide important insights into new treatment options for children with ASD.
