ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at whether repairing the tricuspid valve during surgery for left heart issues is helpful for patients who have mild tricuspid regurgitation. Tricuspid regurgitation happens when the tricuspid valve doesn't close properly, allowing blood to flow backward. The researchers want to find out if doing this repair at the same time as surgery for left heart problems can improve patient outcomes and what risks might be involved.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 80 years old and scheduled for left heart valve surgery with mild tricuspid regurgitation. They must also agree to be part of the study and sign a consent form. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who take part will help provide important information about the best treatment options for patients with these heart conditions.
