ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Incisional heRnia dIgestion Sexuality," is studying how incisional hernias affect patients' lives, particularly focusing on their functional abilities and sexual health after surgery. An incisional hernia can occur after abdominal surgery and may cause discomfort and other problems. The goal of this study is to gather information from patients who have had surgery to fix these hernias by using questionnaires, helping researchers understand the challenges and changes they face.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be between 18 and 79 years old, willing to take part in the research, and scheduled for surgery to repair a hernia or related issue. They should also be able to understand and answer questions in French and be registered in a national healthcare system. Participants can expect to share their experiences and feelings regarding their health and quality of life after surgery. This research aims to improve the understanding of how these conditions impact patients, ultimately leading to better care and support for those affected.
