ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different forms of coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis, which are conditions that affect how the body reacts to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. Researchers want to learn about the genetic and immune differences between these conditions and find specific markers that can help predict how each person will respond to treatment. This information could lead to better management of these diseases in the future.
The study is currently looking for participants aged 18 and older. If you have been diagnosed with coeliac disease or dermatitis herpetiformis, or if you are a friend or family member of someone with these conditions, you may be eligible to participate. However, if you are under 18 or haven’t had your diagnosis confirmed, you wouldn't be able to join. Participants will undergo tests and provide samples to help researchers gather the necessary information. Your involvement could contribute to important discoveries in understanding and treating these conditions.
