ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to monitor patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) to help detect when their condition might be getting worse, even before they feel any symptoms. The study will see if a special device called DistaSense, which is placed on top of your mattress, can pick up signs of a COPD flare-up while you sleep. You'll also complete a daily questionnaire called a CAT, which helps track how you're feeling.
To join this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, have a confirmed diagnosis of COPD, and have experienced at least one flare-up in the past year. Participants will need to be comfortable using the monitoring device and completing the daily questionnaires. This research is important because it could lead to earlier interventions for COPD flare-ups, potentially improving patients' health and quality of life.
