ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the best timing for a specific procedure called HSG (hysterosalpingography) in women who are trying to get pregnant but have not yet succeeded. The trial aims to find out if performing the HSG procedure right away, using a special type of contrast fluid, can lead to more ongoing pregnancies and help women conceive faster compared to waiting six months after their fertility tests are done. The researchers believe that this approach may be both effective and cost-effective for women who are less likely to have problems with their fallopian tubes.
To be eligible for this trial, women need to be between 18 and 39 years old, have regular menstrual cycles, and be undergoing fertility evaluations. However, those with certain health issues like hormone disorders or allergies to iodine, as well as men with low sperm counts, cannot participate. Women who join the trial can expect to receive care and follow-up regarding their fertility while helping researchers learn more about the best practices for improving pregnancy chances.
