ClinConnect Summary
The Fast-track Centre for Hip and Knee Replacement Database is a clinical trial that aims to gather important information about patients undergoing hip and knee replacement surgeries in Denmark. This study will look at the characteristics of patients before their surgery and any complications they may experience afterward. By collecting detailed information from patients and doctors, the researchers hope to improve the care and outcomes for those having these surgeries. The study also includes a special tool to help identify patients who may be at higher risk for complications based on their pre-surgery information.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be at least 18 years old, have a non-cancer-related condition that requires elective surgery, and possess a Danish social security number. Participants will have their health monitored closely, and those who undergo same-day surgery will fill out a questionnaire about their recovery and return to work within 30 days. This trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to use the collected data to enhance patient satisfaction and overall recovery following hip and knee surgeries.
