ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special type of brain training called neurofeedback can help women with bulimia nervosa (BN) while they eat. Researchers want to see if using a wearable device that measures brain activity can improve the ability to control impulses and reduce symptoms of bulimia during meals. The study is currently recruiting participants who are women aged 18 to 45, have a diagnosis of bulimia nervosa, and meet specific health guidelines.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating, it’s important to know that certain medical conditions or ongoing treatments may disqualify someone from joining. Participants will receive training on how to use the brain imaging device while eating, and the study aims to explore whether this can lead to better control over eating behaviors. It’s a unique opportunity to potentially improve eating habits with the help of modern technology while contributing to research in this area.
