ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the pain people experience after having a procedure called percutaneous radiologic gastrostomy (PRG), which is a way to place a feeding tube into the stomach using imaging techniques. The study will last for 12 months and aims to understand how much pain patients feel after the procedure and what factors might predict their pain levels.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, able to read and understand French, and require a gastrostomy under local anesthesia. However, individuals who are under legal guardianship, have serious mental health issues that might affect their ability to complete surveys, or do not wish to participate cannot join the trial. If you decide to take part, you will be asked to share your experiences with pain after the procedure, which will help improve care for future patients.
