ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special computer program, called an AI-assisted polyp detection system, can help doctors find polyps during a colonoscopy. Polyps are growths that can develop in the colon and may sometimes lead to cancer. The study will observe how the doctors’ eye movements change when they use this AI system, which may help improve the detection of polyps in real-time.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be referred for a colonoscopy, which is a procedure used to examine the colon for any abnormalities. However, people who are having a different kind of procedure or those with a very low score on a bowel preparation assessment will not be eligible. Participants can expect a standard colonoscopy procedure with the added technology of the AI system to assist in detecting any potential issues. This study is currently recruiting participants of any age and gender.
