ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called FitBros, is looking to help African American men increase and maintain their physical activity levels using a smartphone app. Many African American men face health challenges due to low levels of exercise, and while some programs have helped them get more active, few have focused on keeping those healthy habits going. The FitBros study aims to create and test an app that will support these men in starting and sticking with their exercise routines.
To participate in this study, you need to be an African American man, at least 30 years old, and have a body mass index (BMI) between 18.5 and 45. You should also have a smartphone and be someone who has not been regularly active for the past six months. If you meet these criteria and are selected, you can expect to use the app to guide your physical activity, along with support from the research team. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you think you might be eligible, consider reaching out for more information!
