ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), a common liver condition linked to obesity and metabolic issues. NAFLD can start with fat buildup in the liver, which may lead to more serious problems like inflammation and liver damage over time. The goal of the study is to better understand this disease and help develop safe and effective treatments for those affected.
To participate in the trial, individuals need to have a diagnosis of NAFLD. However, those with certain health conditions, such as excessive alcohol use, cancer, or active infections, cannot join. Participants will be recruited from a wide age range and both men and women can take part. If eligible, participants will be asked to sign a consent form and may undergo tests to gather important information about their liver health. This study aims to build a clearer picture of NAFLD so that better treatment options can be created in the future.
