ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special training program designed to help nurses improve their skills in advance care planning (ACP), which is the process of discussing and making decisions about future healthcare needs. The researchers want to find out if this training can help nurses feel more confident and knowledgeable when supporting patients and their families in making these important decisions. To do this, they will compare nurses who take part in the training with those who do not receive any training at all.
To participate in the study, nurses need to be registered and have at least two years of clinical experience. However, if they have already had specialized training in advance care planning communication, they won't be eligible to join. While participating, nurses can expect to engage in a multimedia training experience that aims to boost their decision-support skills and improve their overall attitude towards ACP. This study is currently recruiting participants and is open to all genders within the age range of 65 to 74.
