ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment approach for patients with hereditary coagulopathies, such as hemophilia, who also suffer from joint problems due to bleeding in the joints (called hemarthrosis) and inflammation (synovitis). The trial aims to see how effective a procedure called superselective embolization is in reducing symptoms and improving quality of life for these patients. Participants will undergo various assessments, including imaging tests like X-rays and MRIs, as well as evaluations of pain, joint function, and overall well-being over a period of five years.
To be eligible for this study, patients must have hereditary coagulopathies and joint issues confirmed by imaging tests. The trial is open to individuals of all ages and genders who are willing to participate and complete the required assessments. Throughout the study, participants will receive close follow-up care at the Hemophilia Center and can expect to have their health closely monitored, helping researchers understand how this treatment impacts their daily lives over time.
