ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying patients who come to the emergency room experiencing severe agitation, which is a state of extreme restlessness and distress. The main goal is to understand how these patients fare over the next six months, particularly looking at whether they survive or not. Researchers want to learn more about the reasons behind this agitation and how it affects patients' health in the long run.
To join the study, participants must be between 18 and 74 years old and show specific signs of agitation, such as being restless, not feeling pain, and having rapid breathing. They also need to have at least one other sign, like unusual strength or sweating. Some people won't be eligible to participate, including those under 18, pregnant women, or anyone with obvious causes of pain. If you or a loved one is experiencing these symptoms and meets the criteria, joining the trial could help improve understanding of this condition, potentially benefiting future patients.
