ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a type of light therapy called UVB treatment affects certain immune cells in people with skin conditions like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. The researchers want to understand if UVB treatment changes the immune cell population in the blood and whether it increases the number and effectiveness of special immune cells called Treg cells, which help control the immune response. To do this, participants will donate a small amount of blood before starting the UVB treatment and again after an 8 to 10-week treatment period.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be at least 20 years old and willing to provide consent to join the study. Some people may not qualify if they have had recent UV exposure, have certain health conditions, or are pregnant or nursing. If you join this trial, you can expect to provide blood samples before and after treatment, which will help researchers learn more about how UVB therapy works and its potential benefits for managing your skin condition.
