ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating a new treatment called the Suicidal Crisis Intervention (SCI), which aims to help individuals who have recently experienced a suicide attempt or are in a suicidal crisis. The main goal of the study is to see if this short-term treatment can effectively reduce feelings of wanting to harm oneself. Additionally, the trial will explore how SCI may affect related feelings like hopelessness, defeat, and the need for support from others.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have recently faced a suicide crisis or attempt, and be able to communicate in Dutch. It's also important that you have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with the internet. If you're close to someone who is eligible, you can also take part as their support person. Participants can expect to receive the SCI treatment and share their experiences, which will help researchers understand its effectiveness. This study is currently looking for participants, so if you or someone you know might be interested, it could be a valuable opportunity to seek help.
