ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how much pain people feel during a specific eye treatment called intravitreal injection, which is used to treat conditions like diabetic macular edema, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusion. The study aims to see if the pain experienced is affected by how far the injection site is from a part of the eye called the limbus. They are currently recruiting participants aged 18 to 100 who have already been diagnosed with one of these eye conditions and require at least two injections.
If you or a family member are considering participating, you should know that you cannot be part of the study if this is your first injection or if you are under 18. Participants will receive their injections as usual, and the study will help researchers understand pain levels better, which may lead to improved treatment in the future. Your involvement could contribute to important findings in eye care.
