ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the ALTUS Powered Stapler, a tool used during bariatric surgery, to see how safe and effective it is for people with obesity in real-life situations. The goal is to gather information from patients who have had different types of weight-loss surgery, including sleeve and bypass procedures, to better understand how this stapler performs.
To participate in this study, you need to be diagnosed with obesity, specifically grade II (BMI of 35 or more) with related health issues, or grade III obesity (BMI of 40 or more) regardless of other health conditions. If you are eligible and agree to join, you'll be asked to sign a consent form during a routine follow-up visit, allowing researchers to use your surgery information and contact you later for updates. It's important to know that this trial is currently active but not accepting new participants at this time.
