ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the position of dental implants and the shape of the crowns (the part that looks like a tooth) can affect the health of the surrounding gum tissue. Researchers want to understand how these factors relate to issues like inflammation and overall tissue health around the implant. They will be looking at patients who have single dental implants in the front part of their mouths, between their premolar teeth, to see how different characteristics of the implants influence health outcomes.
To participate in this study, you must have a dental implant in the specified area and have natural teeth next to it. You’ll also need to have had a special type of scan before your surgery and be willing to attend research appointments. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, have certain health conditions that prevent dental implants, or cannot commit to the study requirements, you won't be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo assessments that will help researchers learn more about the best practices for keeping dental implants and surrounding tissues healthy.
