ClinConnect Summary

The Intelligent Sports Injury Prevention and Training System trial is focused on understanding how to prevent sports injuries in baseball players, particularly those related to pitching. Researchers have noticed that injuries are becoming more common among players at all levels, and one major factor is the repetitive nature of throwing. This trial aims to analyze the movements of healthy baseball pitchers to identify risks associated with their throwing techniques and help reduce injuries.

To participate in this study, you must be a healthy male baseball pitcher between the ages of 18 and 55. Unfortunately, if you have had surgery on your pitching arm or have certain medical conditions related to muscles or nerves, you won't be eligible. If you decide to join the trial, you can expect to undergo assessments that will help researchers understand the best ways to prevent injuries during pitching. This could ultimately lead to safer playing conditions for baseball players in the future.
