ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to improve family planning services in rural areas of Islamabad, Pakistan by engaging family physicians and pharmacies. The goal is to see if training private family doctors on family planning can help them provide these services more effectively. Some doctors will receive special training and support for six months, while others will continue their usual practice without any changes. By comparing the two groups, researchers hope to understand how well this approach can increase access to family planning.
To participate in this study, male family physicians who work regularly (at least three days a week) in private clinics located in rural Islamabad can be eligible. However, clinics that focus on specialized care, like skin or surgical clinics, and those in urban areas are not included. Participants can expect to receive training and support if they are chosen for the intervention group. This study is currently recruiting, and it aims to gather important information that could help improve family planning services in the region.
