ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of biologic medications for patients with stricturing Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease can cause narrowing (or stricturing) of the intestines, which can lead to various complications. While some earlier studies suggested that biologics might help treat this condition, most of that information came from past records rather than new, direct research. This trial aims to gather more reliable data to see how well these treatments really work.
To participate in this study, patients should have stricturing Crohn's disease but should not need surgery. They should also not have any symptoms related to penetrating Crohn's disease, which is a more severe form of the illness. Participants will need to give their written consent to join. The trial is currently looking for volunteers of all genders, aged between 18 and 75. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can help improve our understanding of how biologics might benefit others with this condition in the future.
