ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how radiotherapy affects the quality of life for men with prostate cancer. Specifically, it focuses on patients who are receiving a modern type of radiotherapy called hypofractionated radiotherapy. The study will involve collecting information through online questionnaires that patients fill out before starting treatment, during treatment, and then once a year for up to five years after treatment. By doing this, the researchers hope to understand how treatment impacts patients' daily lives and well-being.
To participate in the trial, men must have a specific type of prostate cancer that hasn’t spread to other parts of the body and must be able to fill out the questionnaires online. They should not have had previous radiation treatment in the pelvic area or have been diagnosed with another tumor in the last year. Participants can expect to share their experiences and health information, which will help improve care for future patients. It's important to know that all participants will give their consent before joining the study, and their input will be valuable in understanding the long-term effects of radiotherapy.
