ClinConnect Summary
The "Together After Cancer" clinical trial is exploring how an online program designed to help couples communicate and support each other can improve the quality of life for Latina breast cancer survivors and their partners. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will use the online program, which includes brief coaching calls, while the other group will receive standard care. The study will assess how both groups are doing at the start, at the end of the program, and three months later.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, self-identify as Latina or Hispanic, and have been diagnosed with breast cancer within the last ten years. They should also have completed their initial treatment and be in a committed relationship for at least six months. Both partners need to have access to the internet or a smartphone, tablet, or computer. The trial is currently recruiting couples who live in Florida and are willing to participate for about five months. This is a great opportunity for couples to learn new ways to strengthen their relationship while navigating the challenges of cancer recovery together.
