ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into a program designed to help bisexual women and those who identify with similar orientations reduce their alcohol use, lower the chances of being sexually assaulted again, and improve their mental health. Researchers want to see if this program can effectively help participants feel better and make safer choices. They will compare the results of those who participate in the program with a group that will wait for the program to start later.

To take part in this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 24 years old, identify as female, gender fluid, or non-binary, and have a history of sexual victimization and high alcohol consumption. Those who join will engage in the intervention and will be assessed two and four months after completing it to see how they are doing. It's important to note that individuals currently at risk for suicide or experiencing withdrawal symptoms from alcohol will not be eligible for this study. This trial is actively recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity for support and healing.
