ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how often low back pain develops in patients who have had hip replacement surgery (also known as total hip arthroplasty). The researchers want to understand if and when patients experience back pain after having this surgery, especially in those who had the procedure for hip osteoarthritis.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 18 and 70 years old and must have had hip replacement surgery from January 1, 2010, to January 1, 2021, with some back issues afterward. However, individuals with a history of back pain, previous surgeries on their back, or certain medical conditions that affect the spine are not eligible. If you decide to participate, you will be observed over time to see if you develop any low back pain, helping researchers learn more about this common issue after hip surgery.
