ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new software called ArtiQ.Spiro, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help diagnose respiratory diseases. Researchers are looking at data from spirometry tests, which measure how well your lungs are working, that were done in primary care settings like community clinics or GP practices. The goal is to see how well this AI software can assist doctors in interpreting these tests to provide better care for patients with respiratory symptoms, such as cough, wheezing, or shortness of breath.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have experienced respiratory symptoms. The spirometry test must have been performed for clinical reasons under the supervision of a healthcare professional. However, if you are under 18, do not have any respiratory symptoms, or had the spirometry test done as part of a research study or for pre-operative assessment, you would not be eligible for this trial. Since this is a retrospective study, participants will not need to take any new tests; the researchers will review existing data to assess the AI software's effectiveness.
