ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain blood markers can help understand the spread of tumor cells in patients with intestinal polyps. The researchers believe that these polyps might release substances that allow tumor cells to travel in the body. By studying these markers, they hope to improve how doctors monitor patients and create more targeted treatment strategies for those at risk of colorectal cancer.
To take part in this study, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must be scheduled for a colonoscopy, which is a test to examine the colon. They should also have health insurance. Some people, like those who are pregnant, have a history of cancer, or are involved in other clinical studies, won't be eligible. If you choose to participate, you'll be helping researchers learn more about the potential risks associated with intestinal polyps and how to manage them better in the future.
