ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on identifying women who may have a higher risk for certain hereditary cancers, such as ovarian, breast, and colorectal cancer. The study uses mobile mammography units, which are special vans that provide breast cancer screenings, to offer genetic screening and testing to women who come for their mammograms. By finding women at risk, the goal is to help with prevention, early detection, and personalized treatment options for cancer.
If you are a woman between the ages of 65 and 74 and are scheduled for a mammogram at one of these mobile units, you may be eligible to participate in this study. As a participant, you can expect to receive not just your regular screening but also the opportunity for genetic testing, which can provide important information about your cancer risk. This trial is currently looking for women to join, so if you think you might be eligible, it could be a valuable chance to learn more about your health.
