ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how socio-aesthetics, which includes beauty and wellness treatments, can help reduce anxiety in cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy. The researchers want to compare the anxiety levels of participants before starting their treatment and after they have completed three cycles of chemotherapy. By doing this, they aim to see if these supportive therapies can make a difference in how patients feel during a challenging time.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be cancer patients who are starting their first round of chemotherapy and will be receiving it every two to three weeks. They should be able to understand and speak French and complete questionnaires about their feelings. However, those who have already received similar beauty or wellness treatments, or who have certain legal or health conditions, will not be able to participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to fill out surveys about your anxiety levels at different points during your treatment, helping researchers understand the potential benefits of socio-aesthetic care for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
