ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new program designed to help people manage their inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes conditions like ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. The program, called Comprehensive Self-Management for IBD (CSM-IBD), includes eight sessions where participants will learn about their condition, track their symptoms, and explore strategies for managing stress, diet, sleep, and pain. The goal is to see if this approach is helpful and acceptable for those living with IBD.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to have a healthcare provider's diagnosis of IBD and be experiencing current symptoms. They should also be able to read and write in English. Unfortunately, individuals who have had bowel surgery in the last month or live outside of Washington state cannot join. If you choose to participate, you can expect to engage in informative sessions that could provide tools to improve your daily life with IBD.
