ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new ultrasound method called Quantitative Ultrasound Bladder Vibrometry, which aims to help doctors identify problems with bladder function. The study focuses on patients with bladder dysfunction, overactive bladder, or urinary obstruction related to prostate issues. By using this noninvasive technique, researchers hope to improve the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.
To participate in the trial, you need to be over 18 years old and scheduled for a specific bladder test or prostate procedure. However, there are some exclusions, such as if you have certain neurological conditions affecting bladder control or have had significant surgeries in the pelvic area. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo the ultrasound assessment as part of your regular care, helping to advance our understanding of bladder health. This research is currently open for enrollment, and both men and women are welcome to participate.
