ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how sleep affects children aged 9 to 12, particularly in relation to their eating habits, physical activity, and overall health. Researchers want to understand how the amount and quality of sleep can influence children's food choices and body weight, as these factors are important in tackling childhood obesity. By gathering information on sleep patterns, food intake, and lifestyle habits, the study aims to find ways to help children maintain a healthy weight and develop better eating habits.
To participate in this study, children must be between 9 and 12 years old and will need to have a parent or guardian with them. Families will be asked to fill out daily questionnaires and wear a special watch that tracks their activity and sleep for a week. It's important that participants don't remove the watch during this time and complete all required forms. Children who are sick or do not follow the study's guidelines may not be eligible. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance to contribute to important research that could help improve children's health.
