ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the benefits of providing early psychological care to women who have experienced a miscarriage, which is when a pregnancy ends before the 14th week. Miscarriages are quite common, affecting about one in ten women, and can lead to emotional challenges like anxiety and depression. The researchers believe that offering support and counseling soon after a miscarriage could help these women cope better and improve their overall mental health, especially as they consider future pregnancies.
To participate in this trial, women must be over 18 years old and have had an early miscarriage. Unfortunately, women with certain conditions, like ectopic pregnancies or those who have experienced multiple miscarriages, will not be eligible. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but those who join can expect to receive supportive care aimed at helping them process their experience and feelings after a miscarriage. This could be an important step in improving emotional well-being for many women during a difficult time.
