ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the long-term effects and progression of chronic liver disease, which is a serious health issue affecting many people worldwide. Chronic liver disease can develop into more severe conditions like hepatitis, liver scarring, and even liver cancer if not diagnosed and treated early. The goal of this study is to gather information from patients over time to better understand how the disease behaves and how different factors can affect its progression.
To be eligible to participate, patients need to regularly visit a liver disease center and meet specific criteria, such as having chronic viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Unfortunately, patients recently diagnosed with liver cancer or those who have undergone a liver transplant cannot join. If you participate in this study, you can expect to provide information about your health and experiences, which will help researchers learn more about chronic liver disease and improve care for future patients.
